Gunung Stong State Park

Gunung Stong State Park (GSSP) is a forested area, totaling 21,950ha with several prominent mountain peaks. The area is of outstanding beauty and is home to one of the highest waterfalls in Malaysia, the seven-tiered Jelawang Waterfall.

The rugged landscape of GSSP offers many exciting adventures for anyone who loves nature and the great outdoors. GSSP not only has important eco-tourism values but also serves as a significant conservation area with rich flora and fauna diversity.

Animals such as the Asian elephant, seladang, great argus pheasant, Malayan tiger, serow and tapir are known to roam the forest in Stong. With the assistance of a qualified and knowledgeable trekking guide, your exploration of GSSP will be made more meaningful as interesting aspects about the biodiversity of the area are pointed out.

The Bogo Rock Shelter, a cave- like formation, is a suitable resting point on the way to the summit of Gunung Stong, which can be reached within four hours of trekking. Meanwhile, Gunung Ayam, the highest peak in the area at 1,504m, is an ideal spot to catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

A campsite is available for overnight stays. Visit the breathtaking 225 million-year- old limestone caves at Dabong that house several bat species and rare flora, including an endemic balsam.

Siti Khadijah Market

A good way to get to know a Malaysian town is to visit its markets, the economic centre of the community. The Siti Khadijah Market is named after Prophet Muhammad's entrepreneurial wife – a fitting name for a market mostly run by women.

This market has something for everyone, from fresh produce to traditional crafts and cakes. It is also a slice of life in Kelantan, abuzz with colour, scents and sounds of the local community.

2 Click on the ADD button to go to the folder view closeup.

3 Make sure you are in the correct location.

Solving problems

Problems can often happen in workplaces, and common sense is usually the best tool. The sooner an issue is dealt with, and the better a process is followed, the less likely it is that outside assistance will be required.

Employers should have good processes and procedures for dealing with issues and should make sure that employees are aware of them. Everyone in the workplace should understand what is expected of them.

This section describes some typical problems that can be experienced and where employees and employers can go for help. It also outlines the law relating to disciplinary action, including dismissals and redundancy, and what can happen in ill health situations.

How to use print screen/capture your monitor’s screen

Many of us wondered sometimes how we could take a snapshot of the current scene of your screen and send it to our friend? It’s easy over the mac with a Cmmand+3 (Tutorial coming soon), but how about on pc? You’ll need a keyboard and Paint program for this (Photoshop or Pain Shop Pro where applicable).

What is printscreen ?

Say, you’re using your PC and you needed to show your friend what you’re doing at the very moment.

You can of course, use the digital camera, but it wouldn’t be too wise if it turned out to be like this.

And so, we need a keyboard for this job.

Locate the printscreen key which is usually on the top of Insert/HOME/PageUp key. Press it once, nothing will indicate if you’ve done the correct thing, no sound or whatsoever, but do not worry.

Go back to your computer, fire up your favourite image editing program, PAINT, or you can use other such as Photoshop or PaintShopPro.

Inside the program itself, go to Edit –> Paste.

You’re done! Congratulation. Now, save the file by choosing File –> Save. And you’ll be able to repeat this process as much as you like.

What If I only want to capture one portion of the program’s screen?

For some special cases or situation, you can use the image editing’s program to crop the desire position that you want to display, but wait, there’s an easier step for it. Let’s say, you only need to capture the Display Properties window only.

Let’s move on back to the keyboard.

This time, we’ll need to use a combination key of ALT + Print Screen to make this work.

By pressing this two key at the same time, you’ll trigger the action to snapshot the current active window only.

Repeat the steps above and you will get this nice clean window snapshot.

Enjoy.
